1/4 of the way there and eating better/ happier than ever before. Still I had some lovely bacon and asparagus to use up and knowing already that this is a winning combination decided it would be a good dish to do both of them justice and to mark this [not very prolific] milestone!The Verdict:
Brilliant. Simple but brilliant and having gone through the frying/ blanching process earlier in the week with the asparagus I was expecting the wait but its worth it. Top technique for perfectly cooked asparagus!
