212 - Ox Cheek in Red Wine [Cheek Buey al Vino Tinto]

Another one from the boys at Cerviche. Their take on a meaty strew. Complete with lavender. Yes lavender.

The Verdict

Tender, meaty, tasty. I mopped up every last bit of the sauce and then played with the lavender stalk until my hands smelt yummy. The lavender worked but thankfully was very subtle.
